
ACAI/SMOOTHIE BOWL
Welcome to the world of smoothie bowls.
Makes 1
Ingredients
1/2 cup frozen berries - blueberry, mixed berry or raspberry
1 large frozen banana
1/4 - 1/2 a cup of coconut water
Optional extras:
1 tbsp Acai powder (optional)
1 tbsp Cacao powder - for a choc-raspberry or black forest bowl
1 tbsp Nut butters (peanut, almond, cashew etc.) - for a thicker texture
1 tbsp Chia seeds - for a more filling bowl and added nutrients
Method
1. Blend the berries, banana and acai/cacao powder (if you're using it), add the coconut water slowly to allow it to mix easier.
2. Top with whatever you like :)
Ideas are:
Cacao nibs, coconut flakes, goji berries, fresh berries/fruit - anything you want really!
I always like my 10 minute granola (recipe here) which adds a nice crunch.
