Crunchy Spiced Chickpeas


1 tin or 1.5 cups of pre soaked cooked chick peas

2 tbsp olive or coconut oil 

2 tsp curry powder

1 tsp ground cumin

1/2 tsp turmeric 

A good sprinkle of himalayan pink rock salt


Optional other spices 

1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp smoked paprika - for a morrocan flavour


1. Pre heat the oven to 190C (fan forced)

2. Drain, rinse and pat dry the chick peas with paper towel

3. Put the chick peas, oil, spices and salt in a bowl and rub together with your hands until they are all coated. 


4. Put the chick peas on a baking paper lined tray and put in the oven for 25, check to make sure they're not burning then return to the oven for 5 mins or until crunchy. 

Optional: Add cherry tomatoes and cauliflower to bulk it up a bit and add some more flavour - this is more of a side dish than snack
