Iced'Milo'Thickshake

Makes 1


Ingredients

1 large frozen banana (approx. 140g of frozen banana with the skin off*) 

1 heaped tbsp almond butter

1 tsp cacao powder

1/2 cup almond milk (or other milk of choice)

1/2 tsp vanilla

1 tsp cinnamon 

4-5 ice cubes

For the crunch: 

2 tsp of either activated buckwheat groats, cacao nibs (or a mixture of the two!)

Or you could even try some slightly toasted chopped pecans 

*The riper the banana is before you freeze it the sweeter it will taste in the smoothie 

Method

1. Put everything except for the 'crunch' ingredients in a blender and mix until all ingredients are combined - only 30 seconds to a minute or so (I like it to stay somewhat icy) . 

2. Choose your crunch ingredient and add it in before a final blend for another 10-20 seconds.
